A wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment in the heart of Bucharest. Positive: A fantastic apartment in the heart of Bucharest. I honestly haven’t stayed anywhere this lovely for the price. You can find cheaper accommodation in the city, but the quality, space and facilities here made it excellent value for money. The apartment was beautifully furnished, spacious and spotless. It felt like a proper home that I could comfortably live in, with everything you might need. The kitchen was particularly impressive, with excellent appliances and furniture rather than just the basics you often find in holiday rentals. The entire apartment is private, with its own entrance within the building and no shared kitchen or living areas. The location was excellent. The Old Town is around a 5–10-minute walk away, there is a metro station right next door, and the 100 airport bus also stops very close by, making airport transfers convenient. Public transport was easy to access, and there is a mini-market opposite and paid street parking nearby. We found the apartment straight away thanks to the clear instructions, and communication was easy and prompt throughout. Negative: My main criticism is the 4 pm check-in time and the additional charge for arriving earlier. We were initially quoted 120 RON for early check-in, then 100 RON in the instructions sent the day before arrival, which made the pricing feel inconsistent. I find 4 pm quite late, and charging a substantial amount to enter a little earlier, when this is possible, felt excessive. To their credit, they offered to let us leave our luggage before check-in. We didn’t need this as we only had one bag, but it is a useful option. Personally, I would recommend saving the extra money, leaving your bags if needed and spending the time exploring Bucharest or enjoying a meal before checking in. The only other thing I missed was a balcony, although that is simply a personal preference, coming from Greece! Overall, a wonderful apartment that I would happily recommend, despite the disappointing early check-in policy.
